Pay for testing
Pay For Testing: Core Martial Arts Classes Tiny Tigers
Congratulations to those of you who have tested! Your job at this time is to check this list and check your number to see if there's anything that you need to practice and show to your instructors the next time you're in class. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out via email or check in the Google classroom to see if there's a video to go along with the requirement.
If there is nothing in any of the boxes in line with your number; congratulations there's nothing you need to redo, and your job is to show up to class and then attend the promotion.
If there is anything written in any of the boxes in line with your number; review and practice that item or items and then attend the next available class so that an instructor can work with you on that material and sign off on your retest list. This shows us that you have put in extra time and work and have made progress, and are able to then attend promotion and earn your new rank.
Parents and families: there is an expectation of proficiency (noted on the back of each requirement sheet) for each belt level, and as long as the student reaches the acceptable proficiency, they are approved and encouraged to continue. The goal of the retesting process is quality control from a school standpoint and effectiveness from a student standpoint. Our hope is that when a student approached a test, they put an extra effort and time to meet, meet or exceed the proficiency expectation. If anything needs to be redone; that the student would approach that item with the same energy and enthusiasm to turn something they may have struggled with into a strength.
There is a Testing Fee for students planning to test and advance to the next level.
This fee is used to purchase belts, boards, uniform patches, uniform lining, equipment, certificates, and other training tools used by the students. The testing fee can be paid electronically by square and in person.
It Helps us to have testing fees paid 2 weeks prior to the test (if possible). This allows us time to have items shipped and received prior to testing.
The Core Martial arts class testing fee is $40 per student
The Tiny Tigers class testing fee is $30 per student
